Filmmaker K C Bokadia Experiments in Punjabi Film Industry with “Meri Vahuti Da Viah”

Chandigarh 11^th Feb, 2020:- Legendary producer-director KC Bokadia from Bollywood, who carved a niche for himself and was described as ‘an era on his own’ in Indian cinema has now stepped into Punjabi film industry with his maiden directorial venture in “Meri Vahuti Da Viah”   He created a record of sorts by making 50 films in quick time introducing several stars in Bollywood. Now he is making his debuting in Punjabi with upcoming movie Meri Vahuti Da Viah.

The casting of “Meri Vahuti Da Viah” involves renowned comedian Gurpreet Ghugghi (Actor), Pukhraj Bhalla (Actor), Jaswinder Bhalla (Actor), BN Sharma (Actor), Karamjit Anmol (Actor), Harby Sangha (Actor), Rana Jang Bahadur (Actor) Gehna (Actress) Sara Malik (Actress) along with Gurmeet Singh (Music Director),  Rashpal Pali (Dialogue Writer).

K.C. Bokadia is an Indian filmmaker. He has produced successful films such as Pyar Jhukta Nahin, Teri Meherbaniyan, Naseeb Apna Apna,Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam and Main Tera Dushman. He has directed successful films like Phool Bane Angaaray, Police Aur Mujrim, Insaaniyat Ke Devta, Aaj Ka Arjun, Kudrat Ka Kanoon. 

Speaking during the press meet organised here in the Chandigarh, Bokadia said, that he worked with more than 100 stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Sunny Deol, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan. He introduced Priyanka Chopra as a heroine. Media stands as the main reason behind all his achievements. “Meri Vahuti Da Viah” will be his first Punjabi Film and he is sure it would surely strike a chord with Punjabi audiences. He further shared that well-known actor Pukhraj Bhalla & Jaswinder Bhalla & Sara Malik will do an important role in this film.

Hailing from a small town in Rajasthan, K C Bakodia recalled his jounrey in Bollywood. He said that hailing from a typical Hindu family; He came to Bombay and making Riwaaz with Sanjeev Kumar in 1972 withstanding high competition. That was an unforgettable experience for him. Pyar Jukhtha Nahin which came out in 1985 became a silver jubilee film and later it was released in all languages. In the same year, he launched BMB Production after his father’s name BM Bokadia and made Teri Meherbaniyan which scored a blockbuster hit. This film was remade in almost all languages and became a big hit in them. His directorial Aaj Ka Arjun with Amitabh Bachchan was massive hit.
