Harkrishan Model School Sector-38D, Chandigarh organized Fit India Plogging Run
on 21st December 2019
to pay befitting tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi launched
by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The run aims at keeping the surroundings
clean and promoting the habit of fitness in all citizens. The students of class
VI to VIII along with the staff members participated enthusiastically in this
movement by picking up the litter, the plastic garbage and throwing them in the
trash bins along the way. They all jogged around the school, nearby societies,
roadside and parks of sector 38 spreading the awareness for a Fit India and a Plastic free
India.
The Principal
appreciated the participation and efforts of children and encouraged them to
adopt this activity in daily life.
