Chandigarh 01st October:- Maharaja Agrasen
University Baddi, Himachal Pradesh is organizing “International Conference of
Pharmacology and Drug Discovery" from 4th to 6th October,
2018. The theme of the conference will be “Pharmacology for Future: Towards
Translational Approach for Next Generation Pharmacologists”. The event will be
attended by World acclaimed Pharmaceutical and Medical Scientists from the US,
Netherlands and Malaysia as speakers and delegates. Senior medical
professionals from AIIMS, PGIMER, and NIPER would also deliver Keynote
addresses during the event.
Shedding
more light on the event, Prof. Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Vice Chancellor of the
Maharaja Agrasen University and Dr. Nand Kishore Gupta, Chancellor, Maharaja
Arasen University today said that the conference is accredited by Punjab
Medical Council (for 12 CME Credits) and Himachal Pradesh Medical Council (for
7 CME credits). He further informed that Science and Engineering Research Board
of Department of Science and Technology (SERB-DST) of Government of India has
provided partial grant-in-aid support of Rs. 1.5 Lakhs for the Pre-conference
Workshop on Good Laboratory Practices and Panel Discussion on Skill India
Initiative of Govt. of India.
Besides,
Prof. Gupta disclosed that a “Walkathon for Healthy and Stress Free Life” would
also be organized on 6th October at Sukhna Lake. The walkathon will be
sponsored by Brand Factory, Mumbai and Ivory Hill Club, Baddi.
On
4th October, two Pre-conference Workshops on Good Laboratory Practices and
Publication Ethics and Writing a Research Grant Proposal are also being
organized to upgrade the skills of biomedical scientists and young researchers.
During
the main conference on 5th and 6th October a grand Exhibition for showcasing
and displaying pharmaceutical instruments, National and International Journals,
Publications and suppliers will also be held.
Besides,
a panel discussion on the initiative of Govt. of India under "Skill
India" will also be organized to promote Entrepreneurship Skills in
Pharmacy Graduates.
