Chandigarh 12th October:- Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College & Shri
Dhanwantry Educational Society organised a National Seminar on "Challenges
and Strength of AYUSH for the Prevention & Management of Lifestyle
Disorders" and also holding the Alumni meet of Batch 1979& 1980.
Justice Ashok Bhan , Hon'ble Judge Supreme Court ( Retd) was the Chief Guest.
He urged the present on the occasion to Document, Validate the strengthen the
AYUSH Prevention & Management of Lifestyle Disorders" for the benefit
of the Public at large and expected Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College , Chandigarh
to play a lmportant role in the Direction which lnstitution is one of few
Ayurvedic College with attached Hospital having CGHS approved panel & NABH
accreditation & under process for NAAC Accreditation.
He noted that once the coming up 4 Story New
Block having area of about 83995 sq fit and of PG Courses and various other
Courses are started the institution can further achive its goal shortly for
Centre of Excellence for Life style Disorders in the institution. And
Chandigarh will come on lnternational. Map for prestigious Ayush Facilities.
On the occasion, Dr. JLN Shastry, Dr.
Dharminder Vashistha , Dr, Deepika Ganju Gunawat, Dr. B.T. Chidanada Murthy
were the Keynote speakers. Dr. Rakesh Sharma Director Ayush Punjab, , Dr.
Sanjeev Goyal, Registrar, GRAU & Executive CCIM Member, Dr. Anil Sharma
(Registrar SKAU Kurukshetra), Dr. Jagjit Singh, Member of CCIM, , Eminent
Ayurveda Physician Dr. Ani! Bhardwaj ,Member of CCIM Dr. Dileep Mishra, Distt
Ayurvedic Officer & Dr. Vikas Gill, Dr. Dharmendra Vashist, Nathurapathy
were also honoured for their valuable contributions in AYUSH.
Alumni of 1979 & 1980 Batch came from
Distant places including USA the freshed up their memories & were happy to
note that their institutions is floushing & wished institution the Best. All
AYUSH colleges of Panjab & Haryana shall participate in the Seminar.
All the Alumni of Batch 1979 & 1980 has
been invited on the occasion.
