December:- Desh Bhagat University organized a national seminar on the life,
heritage and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev. Dr. Deepak Manmohan Singh, retired
Dean of Punjabi University Patiala, present as Chief Guest.
During
this seminar, University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Dr. HS Bedi Chancellor
Central University, Himachal Pradesh,
Dr.
Baljinder Kaur Assistant Professor Desh Bhagat College Dhuri, Advocate Sukhbir
Singh Attorney General Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Prof.
Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur, Vice Chancellor Dr. Virender Singh and Dr.
Shalini Gupta also present in the
seminar.
After
welcoming the guests on this occasion Director of Education Department
Dr.Surjit Patheja sheds light on the key
aspects of Sri Guru Nanak's life.
Chief
Guest Dr. Deepak Manmohan Singh praised the University's efforts and inspired
the students to seek guidance from Guru
Nanak Dev Ji's life. He said that Baba Nanak, through logical based methods,
got people out of superstitious religions.
University
Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh said that we have to work hard to advance the legacy
of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
In
addition, various speakers during this seminar also inspired the students to
learn from Guru Nanak's life and their teachings.
