Zee Studios to Release Punjabi Film "Surkhi Bindi" on August 30

Chandigarh 27^th August:- Zee Studios, in association with Shri Narotam Ji Films, is all set to release their upcoming Punjabi film ‘Surkhi Bindi’ a quirky romance, slated to release on August 30, 2019. Recently, they organized a special press conference.

Surkhi Bindi is a quirky romance that packs in a punch with powerful performances and soulful music.

While interacting with media, Actor Sargun Mehta said that as an actor, we put our best in every project we associate with. However, there are some projects that become part of you and she thinks ‘Surkhi Bindi’ is one such film. People will love Rano and will relate to her and she is sure will shower their blessings. And she is so excited to associate with Zee Studios & the producer-director duo a second time after our previous hit films together.

Actor Gurnam Bhullar commented that this is just his second film, but the learning experience he had on set with Sargun Mehta and Jagdeep Sidhu will be with him forever. He is grateful to be associated with such project and he just hope that like his previous works people will support this also.

Director Jagdeep Sidhu shared that “’Surkhi Bindi’ is a story of every girl and their unfulfilled dreams. And how a partner’s support can make them fulfill that. This film will motivate every woman to never give up and believe in their partner. This kind of love is something new to Punjabi cinema which makes it a worth watch.

Producers of the film said that considering the importance of something unique and freshness in content these days, we have tried our best to deliver that. We are sure; ‘Surkhi Bindi’ will definitely start an era of female-centric movies in Punjab.
