Chandigarh Feb. 11, 2021:- Desh Bhagat University
organized “Installation Ceremony” of The Himalayan Foundation. The Himalayan
Foundation Desh Bhagat comes under the Himalayan Club, a public charitable
trust running under the Government of India. Its objective is to serve humanity,
uplifting the underprivileged, and to provide a platform for its members to
nurture their skills. This trust has been working for many years under the
dynamic guidance of Er. Dr. Sandeep Singh, President DBU & Trustee The
Himalayan Trust.
The Himalayan Foundation
selected Mr. Amrinder Singh as its Chartered President and Saurav Kumar Singh
as Secretary in Desh Bhagat University. Collaring ceremony of these new members
who are also the alumni of the University was performed by respected Er. Dr.
Sandeep Singh.
Gurdeep Singh, President
of the Himalayan Foundation Chandigarh, and Sparsh Gupta, joint Secretary
Himalayan Foundation India and Chartered Secretary Himalayan Foundation
Chandigarh were also present on the occasion. Sparsh Gupta gave a power point
presentation and highlighted in detail all the objectives and functions of The
Himalayan Foundation and its Club.
President DBU &
Trustee The Himalayan Trust, Er. Dr. Sandeep Singh in his address congratulated
the newly appointed members and motivated the students to become members of The
Himalayan Foundation as new career opportunities are peeping at their doors.
There is need to make the best out of these opportunities.
Chancellor DBU, Dr. Zora
Singh appreciated the efforts of the Foundation and assured to give all types
of help to the foundation. He blessed its new members and motivated other
students to serve the nation by joining the Himalayan Foundation.
Vice Chancellor
DBU, Dr. Shalini Gupta praised the efforts of the Foundation. She gave her best
wishes to the newly appointed members of The Himalayan Foundation in Desh
Bhagat University.
