08th Jan 2020:- Desh Bhagat University is going to establish
a 25-foot high elevation Òý Ó (IK
Onkar) dedicated to 550-years Prakash Purabh of Sri Guru Nanak Dev. The
foundation stone was laid by University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh. On this occasion, Dr. Zora Singh said
that as followers of Guru Nanak's teachings, all religions should be seen as a
common way to unite with God.
Pro-Chancellor
Dr. Tejinder Kaur said that we should not discriminate the God on different religious
aspects. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr.
Virender Singh, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Vimal Sikri, Director Dr.
Shalini Gupta, Director Dr. Surjit Patheja, Controller Examination Pramod
Kumar Mandal, Director JS Bhatia,
Director O.P. Bhatia and other staff members
were also present.
